Civil Ceremony Suite
The Kings Head Hotel holds a license under the Marriages Act of 1994 allowing us to host Civil Wedding Ceremonies on our premises. Our elegant Blencathra Suite provides an ideal venue for your ceremony with seating for up to 50 Guests and beautiful views across the valley.
Dining
Our award winning St. Johns Restaurant offers an elegant dining experience with spectacular views toward St. Johns in the Vale, seating up to 50 guests. Our Head Chef and his team offer an extensive menu created from only the finest of local produce. Choose from our range of carefully selected Set Menus or create your individual Wedding Breakfast under the expert guidance of our Head Chef.
Accommodation
The Kings Head Hotel offers 17 bedrooms accommodating up to 36 persons in a combination of double, twin, single and family rooms. A beautifully decorated Honeymoon Suite will be available for the happy couple on their Wedding night.
Additional accommodation is available at our sister properties in Grasmere or Keswick with return transport arranged on your behalf. Please note: a minimum of a two-night stay is applicable on Wedding parties. In addition, we are delighted to offer special accommodation rates for all Wedding guests who would like to extend their stay for more than two nights.
